How to play Ultimate Chicken Horse on phones
Ultimate Chicken Horse alternates between platforming and placing traps, and the layout covers both. ROTATE is labeled right on the button, so nobody has to ask how to rotate a piece during the build phase.
Getting the party in
- Launch QR Controller on the PC and choose the Ultimate Chicken Horse layout under Controller Type.
- One controller per player, so add slots for however many showed up tonight.
- Each player scans the QR code with their phone camera. The controller opens in the browser with every button labeled.
- Fire up the game and everyone joins from the treehouse, exactly as if they were holding real gamepads.
What's on the screen
Beyond ROTATE: JUMP doubles as PLACE, plus RUN!, GIVEUP and an EMOTE button.
UCH is a great phone controller game for the same reason all party platformers are: the controls are just a few buttons, and the game gets better with every extra person. With phones, everyone in the room can join!
